Brand
New Balance
In 1906, William J. Riley, a 33-year-old English immigrant, founded the New Balance Arch Support Company in Boston, producing insole arches and other accessories capable of improving the fit of shoes. The brand, now fourth in the world in the production of sneakers for athletes and lifestyle, known and represented worldwide, was already born with great attention to health and quality.
They continued to sell insole supports until 1961, when they designed the "Trackster," the first sports shoe with grooves in the sole for added grip. It was also the first shoe available in various widths.
The Trackster brought New Balance a reputation as an innovator and producer of cutting-edge shoes. The production is located between the United States and the European Union, boasting models named with precise numbering and high quality for men, women and kids.
